20th Century Popcast is a podcast that tries to understand the present by living in the past.  Each week hosts Bob and Tim take a sociological look at the pop culture of the '80s and '90s.  Its a ruining of their childhood that hopefully explains how they became adults.

RETRO SHOCK: "Pee-Wee's Big Abduction" (1986)  What 10 year-old wouldn't want to be cosmically kidnapped and forced to fly to a future where NASA wants to cut open their brain for star-charts?   Well, half of this show's hosts  ... to start with.  Still, that's not stopping Bob and Tim from exploring this childhood space film that isn't "Explorers."  Its Disney's oddest offering from the 1980s, "Flight Of The Navigator" ...  and some dogs playing frisbee.
